Daily prayer grounds us in a faith of knowing that God is with us at every moment - even when the struggles come. We can always, and should always, go directly to God with our prayers, hopes, needs, and dreams. When the crisis comes, sometimes we struggle to pray...and when that happens, we look to others for help.  Asking for the intercession of a patron saint is like asking a very special friend for prayers.
